This website serves as a complement to my resume, especially the projects page, which showcases my projects and includes even some free time projects I created since I was 18 in a special section. Additionally, it is a platform where I can share my essays, tutorial notebooks, and course notes.

about me

I am a Software and Machine Learning Engineer at Helmholtz Munich, where I currently work on scaling Cellflow for 100M+ cells and contribute to the scverse ecosystem, particularly Squidpy, SpatialData and AnnData. Previously, I worked as a research assistant in the same lab, focusing on Geome and Moscot, and improving the scalability of AnnData.

I hold a Master’s degree in Data Engineering and Analytics (with distinction, GPA 1.5) from the Technical University of Munich (TUM), supported by the Research-Oriented Master’s Scholarship for PhD Candidates from ELIZA, part of ELLIS. I also earned my B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Gebze Technical University, graduating first in my class with highest honors.

Beyond academia, I have experience as a data analyst and embedded software developer at VisionSpace, where I worked on cybersecurity text mining and Rust-based space mission software, and as a web developer at Solarnub in Spain.

research interests

My primary objective is to enhance my expertise in machine learning and data engineering. The more I delve into the intricacies of the topics I work with, the more content I feel. I find myself drawn to an eclectic range of interests, from the inner workings of operating systems and robotics to the mathematical principles that underpin machine learning models and data.
